Katja Ridderbusch is bubworks Head of US Operations in Atlanta, and a media trainer and consultant on our Holding Media Attention programmes. She is a professional journalist of 14 years, who started her career in German network television, and then worked as reporter, editor and correspondent to the German national daily Die Welt. Katja spent four years as Die Welt’s foreign correspondent in Brussels where she covered EU and NATO. She routinely appeared on TV news programmes in Germany and Austria as political analyst. Katja left Brussels in 2005 in order to move to the US, where she finished a book on life behind the scenes in the European Union. She continues to write feature stories and business reportage for DIE WELT and other national newspapers and magazines. As head of bubworks US media training, Katja will help PR experts and spokespeople benefit from understanding how to prepare and stay in control of interviews with European journalists. She also gives seminars and consults on how to successfully tell your story to European news channels. Katja speaks German, English and French.
